A car crashed into a car park in London on Saturday afternoon, with no one on board.
The accident happened in Whitechapel, in south east London, around 8:30pm, and there was no immediate word of any injuries.
A witness told the BBC: “I heard a huge bang and then there was a huge crash.
I heard a big bang and there were people on the ground.”
It’s very strange.
I was just coming out of the car park to see what was going on when I heard the crash.
“A man was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Police said it was not immediately clear how the car had ended up in the carpark.
In the past, a similar incident has happened in south west London.
Police said the car involved was not the same type of vehicle as the one that crashed in Whitecourt.
A spokeswoman for South West London Police said: “We are not aware of any reports of damage to the vehicle involved in this collision.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.”
