Car detailing services can be a lot of fun, but they’re also often a lot more expensive than what you’d normally pay for a home improvement job.
It’s a lot like getting a home remodel done, and the more complicated the job, the more expensive the process gets.
But that’s not to say it’s not worth it, says Matt Mazzola, owner of Mazzo Automotive in Phoenix, Arizona.
“You’ll save a ton of money, you’ll get the job done, you can enjoy the satisfaction of doing it, and you’ll see results in a couple of weeks,” Mazzolan said.
Here are some of the things you’ll find at car detailing services: Car detailing costs are often based on the complexity of the job and the number of people involved.
For example, a typical car detailing job can be done in two hours for an average size vehicle.
At that price, you’re likely to get a car that will need a lot less work than what most people would normally pay.
You might also find that the services are cheaper if you’re a smaller business.
“Small businesses and businesses with a small staff can get a lot cheaper because they don’t have the staff to do a lot,” Mizzola said.
“If they’re really, really, super, super busy, they may not have enough time to do the work.”
And you may also be able to save money by buying in bulk.
“It’s the bulk that will save you,” Mitzola said, adding that the cheaper the services, the better.
The more complex the job the more you will need to pay for everything.
And the more people involved, the less likely you are to have the services delivered in one single day.
The time required for the car detailing is also determined by the type of work you’re doing.
“For a home restoration, if it’s an open garage, then you’ll probably need a couple people working,” Muzzo said.
For an exterior garage job, you probably won’t need as many people, and for a garage that’s more traditional, you may not be able call on so many people.
In fact, Mazzolas work can usually be completed in under five hours.
“Most of the time you’ll have to get your car out of the garage,” Mizola said of the average car detailing business.
